Glory to God.
How often do we forget to give glory to God and praise Him for all He has done, is doing, and will do in the future?
For even the heavens declare the Glory of God and the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day the pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out to all the earth, their words to the end of the world. (Psalm 19: 1-4)
David creates a beautiful image of glorifying God in this chapter in Psalms. The skies and the heavens praise the Lord day and night, and this act of praise can be understood no matter what language one speaks or understands. How amazing is that?
To the extent that the skies and the heavens glorify God, as human beings created in the image of God, so much more so should we glorify Him in our actions, our words, and in all facets of our lives.
Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
